Hugo is a rather rotund, not so grizzly bear.  He is made using one skein of yarn and can be knitted flat or alternatively, some pieces can be knitted in the round.

135m (146 yds) of Coopknits ‘Socks Yeah! DK’ yarn in shade 207 (Chiron)  
1m (1 1/10yds) of black 4-ply (fingering) yarn
Two black 6mm (1/4 in) and two black 4mm (1/6 in) toy safety eyes

Big Hugo - Approximately 16.5cm (6 1/2in) tall when sitting
Mini Hugo - Approximately 8cm (3 1/8 in) tall when sitting
Just add 3mm and 2.5mm knitting needles
