This delightful pattern includes full instructions for the Lovebird and the little envelope tucked under his arm.  
 
You can make two lovebirds (three if you are careful with your ends of yarn) using three balls of Erika Knight British Blue DK yarn.
 
You will also need toy filling, safety eyes and a darning needle.  The pattern uses 3mm knitting needles.
